Chen Zeng ACE, born in 1994, now lives in New York andShanghai, studied in Central Academy of Fine Arts, 2016 graduated from Fine Arts Department, School of Visual Arts, New York.

此次展覽將呈現(xiàn)藝術(shù)家曾晨2017年歸國以來最新創(chuàng)作的數(shù)件系列作品，包括雕塑，圖像，視頻，燈光裝置及行為等。對(duì)于藝術(shù)家本人而言，這次展覽是一次私密且誠懇的展現(xiàn)過程，通過新的媒介將藝術(shù)家兒時(shí)的創(chuàng)意再現(xiàn)，整體呈現(xiàn)將作為影片開幕式的形式。本次展覽為藝術(shù)家本人首次個(gè)人展覽，是藝術(shù)家對(duì)于新數(shù)碼媒介形式與內(nèi)容上的探索的一次集中展示。

The exhibition will showcase the latest series of works created by artist Chen Zeng ACE since his return of China in 2017, including sculpture, images, video, video mapping and performance. For the artist himself, this exhibition is a private and sincere show process. Through the new media, artist’s childhood creativity could comealive again. The overall presentation will be the form of the film openingceremony. This exhibition is the first exhibition of the artist, is aconcentrated display of artist’s exploration of the new digital media form andcontent.

從小我的手指生的很怪

能做出很多復(fù)雜的動(dòng)作

童年的我不愛說話喜歡自己獨(dú)處

在那個(gè)網(wǎng)絡(luò)電視尚不發(fā)達(dá)的年代

用自己的手做出形象

上演自己喜愛的劇情

安靜的遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)坐著讓自己的雙手廝打

是小時(shí)候我最愛干的事

旁人無法參與到我的視角

家人也曾打趣過我的智力

我的玩手游戲里只有自導(dǎo)自演

上學(xué)了工作了我用手干活了

那些我電影里的形象漸漸暗淡

變回了一對(duì)靈巧但普通的手

我想每個(gè)人可能都曾擁有某種怪癖

某種程度上它們可能很有靈氣

這個(gè)世界每天都在試著把人們變成一個(gè)樣

可我心里卻無比崇尚這種奇怪的獨(dú)特個(gè)性

My fingers were born strange

Can make a lot ofcomplicated gestures

I did not like speaking, and prefer staying alone during childhood

In the era of network television was not yet developed

Created myown figures by using different gestures

Staged my favorite stories

Quietly sitting and letmy hands battle

That was myfavorite game

Others can not participatein my perspective

Family also made funof my intelligence

My play game was onlyself-directed and self-acting

Then Went to school, gotjobs by using hands

The figures in my playswere getting bleak

Changed back to a pair of flexible butordinary hands

I think everyone may havehad some sort of quirks

To a certain extent theymay be very talented

The world is trying to turnpeople into a single way every day

But my heart is extremelyrespect for this strange but unique personality
